Job Description


Lead Software Sales Account Management to drive global Software License Revenue. For this role, we are looking for an individual with a blend of sales and account management experience, business and technical acumen, and strong operational discipline. This is a high impact role that will have you working with global field account managers to engage partners directly, and collaborating internally across multiple Intel Business Units, Sales and marketing teams and many other key stakeholders. This role will drive both short and long-term sales objectives, while also helping Intel to establish scale via Independent Software Vendors, Distributors and Original Equipment Manufacturers for Intel's software sales initiatives long term.

Main responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Develops long term relationships with customer decision makers to increase the preference for Intel software products and solutions and maximize the business with assigned accounts.
  • Drives software revenue and associated ecosystem support independently for long term successful outcomes.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of the customer's business case and total cost of ownership for digital transformation to identify new opportunities to accelerates customer's digital journey.
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring all needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, customer decision makers and partners to identify growth opportunities through account planning and delivery execution. Achieves quarterly and annual revenue targets with a strong focus on current and new customers.
  • Coordinates with the Intel Technical Sales teams or partners to address customer questions or issues and identifies and mitigates blockers to customer success goals.
  • Acts as an advocate for customers during the resolution of high severity cases, driving business reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Understands industry, business and Edge to Cloud technical trends, and leverages creative problem-solving methods to apply Intel software solutions to customers' preferred deployment architecture.
  • Understands customer's deployment environment and involves high impact Technical Sales and external Partner teams in sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers to create design wins and revenue ramp on Intel software solutions.


Note: This is a commissioned sales position.


Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience with customer relationship management, contract negotiation, and software sales.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of software development process, industry trends and partnership business models.
  • Strong cross-functional team leadership and influence/matrix skills
  • Ability to engage with ISVs, OEMs, SI, and end customers to drive joint business objectives and solution selling.
  • Ability to navigate senior relationship management to communicate and execute effectively with executives at Intel and the customers.
  • Excellent organization, project management and execution skills.
  • Proven track record of working with multi-cultural teams, strong inclusive collaboration skills and recognized for this by customers and internally.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset with passion to make a HUGE impact by being truly customer obsessed.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $167,770.00-$268,430.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
